A property enquiry can be useful without pretending the caller’s preferences prove a match. This guide is for property sales operations and BPO teams taking administrative enquiries. It does not make an offer, reserve a property or confirm current inventory.
This is a proposed intake and review method. Verify any product action and the owner-approved business rule before making a caller promise.
Separate preference from listing fact
The caller’s preferred area is a preference. Whether a unit exists, is available or fits a price is a listing fact that must come from the approved current system and owner. If that source is unavailable, preserve the question for human follow-up.
Worked enquiry: similar project names
Illustrative case: a caller requests a viewing at “Lake View” and says a two-bedroom home is preferred. The agent confirms the project spelling and preferred callback time but does not claim a unit or slot is available. The sales owner checks the current listing and contacts the caller.
Audit the brief
Compare the spoken project name, final corrected details and receiving record. Review mistaken matches separately. A polite conversation or a collected budget does not prove that the enquiry is qualified or that a site visit is booked.
A little more before you begin.
Can the agent tell the caller a property is available?
Only if the configured workflow checks an authorised current source and the response is verified for that listing. Otherwise route the availability question to the sales owner.
