A campaign can finish while requested callbacks remain open. This audit method helps BPO managers distinguish a callback request, an accepted assignment, an attempted callback and a verified customer contact.
This is a proposed intake and review method. Verify any product action and the owner-approved business rule before making a caller promise.
Build the audit join
Match each request to a stable authorised reference. Preserve the original campaign attempt identifier and the destination record identifier. When references do not match, place the item in an exception list instead of joining records based only on a similar name.
Set the reporting window and late-event rule before calculating completion. A callback initiated just before the period closes may finish later; report pending items with an as-of date.
Worked reconciliation: eleven requests
Illustrative ledger: eleven requests were captured, nine accepted by the receiving team, seven callbacks attempted, five intended people reached, and four tasks completed under the business definition. Report those stages separately. The two unaccepted items remain open; they are not “lost” if the audit has explicitly identified their owner and recovery status.
Trace exceptions to owners
Review missing links, duplicate destination records and work past the approved callback window. Ask the receiving manager to confirm actual task completion. Do not estimate paid accounts or revenue from callback counts.
A little more before you begin.
Can the campaign completion event close every callback request?
No. Reconcile each request to its receiving and completion evidence; campaign completion only describes the campaign event.
