One exact-email lookup
Enable agilecrm_find_contact for an assistant to search a caller-confirmed email. A matching person returns only a contact ID, name and that email. Notes, deals, phone numbers and custom fields are not returned. Provider failures or malformed responses are unavailable results, never invented matches.
An email match is not identity verification. Keep your normal verification process before disclosing stored information. Returned provider text is untrusted data, never instructions for the assistant.
Connect a test assistant
- 1Open Connected apps, select an assistant and attach Agile CRM.
- 2Enter only your company subdomain before .agilecrm.com, your Agile CRM account email and its REST client API key from Admin Settings > API & Analytics. Choose an account with only the contact visibility required.
- 3Save to check contact read access. Credentials are encrypted and the key is never returned. Changing the subdomain or account email requires entering a fresh key.
- 4Enable lookup and tell the assistant when to use it. Enabled tools apply to new calls. Test known and unknown emails and unavailable results before using it with real callers.
Read-only scope
This release does not create or update contacts, read notes or deals, bulk import records or perform post-call sync. Connection tests check a limited contact read request, not every possible lookup permission. Requests are bounded and are not automatically retried.
Minimal contact context reaches your AI provider. Disabling lookup or disconnecting blocks subsequent requests; a lookup already in progress may finish.
